Any vintage Uk aircraft fanatics ?

these are recent finds in Sg

Airfix 1/72 Avro Vulcan B Mk2

wearing the camou job of the falklands war
This is a large aircraft and well worth the 80 bucks or so for the kit
HOWEVER, as Vulcan-nuts knows, Airfix has never provided a bomb bay interior, nor had any 3rd party accessory maker. You'll have to scratchbuild that yourself

Revell 1/72 Victor K Mk2

Revell Germany re-done the old matchbox victor bomber mould and created the Victor Air Tanker - which served superbly during the Falkland Wars as well, refueling its V-Bomber days partner - the Vulcan all the way to drop lead on the argies.

Street price in Sg - from 70-80

Mach2 1/72 Vickers Valiant

user posted image

Except for a vac-formed kit some time back, Mach 2 offers the only injection moulded kit of the Valiant, however this is a limited production run and there are only a few in Sg

There are articles in the net that complains about inaccuracies etc, but beggars will never be chosers ....

Street price - about 160 bucks

I'm still mulling over this one ....

Kitech 1/48 Avro Arrow CF105

A knockoff of hobbycraft's offering by Kitech AKA Zhengdefu
Kopy or not, this is an amazing kit, especially if you know the story behind the Avro Arrow, which like the SR.53, were killed off by a belief that SAMs works better than Fighters...

Street price about 25 bucks - not sure if you can find one, I might have taken the last one - well, last one that I know of anyway ...
